Advisory on clinic procedure

Clients are seen on a first come first-served basis, according to the number of attorneys that IELLA has available to assist clients.  Service will usually be guaranteed to the first 16 clients that arrive at each clinic.  Names are taken in order of arrival, however, no sign-ins will be taken before 1 PM (9AM at Arlanza clinic).  Clients are then screened to determine eligibility and case type.  If clients are determined eligible, they will be called to discuss their case with an attorney.  We will provide all the documents to present in court.  Unfortunately, because of the large number of clients that IELLA serves, our attorneys CANNOT provide in-court representation.

PLEASE NOTE: Time required to process through the clinic's eligibility and legal advice portions depends on the number of clients attending the clinic.  Clients should expect to spend all afternoon in the clinic (possibly until 7 P.M. or later for evening clinics): first, determining eligibility, and then, waiting to receive legal advice from our volunteer attorneys.
